It is being held Thursday, January 19th from 10:00 to 5:00. It is “hands-on” – bring a laptop and follow along (as best you can).
Here are some details:
This day-long seminar will teach you all about color separations for T-shirt screen printing. You will learn what programs to use, how to do spot color work, real CMYK process color, and the basics of simulated process color and index color.
This is a hands-on class where you are welcome to bring a laptop and follow along with Scott. It is helpful if you have either Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw along with Adobe Photoshop installed.
It is not mandatory that you bring a computer. You will learn basic-to-advanced techniques that Scott uses daily when he separates more than 1,000 jobs per year for the industry. You will learn tips, tricks, shortcuts, ways to make artwork separation friendly, all about halftone dots, trapping and choking, creating an underbase and of course much more.
You will receive a DVD with work files and a comprehensive manual for easy reference after the class.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- How to create production-friendly color separations for light and dark shirts
- How to use the right graphics program for the right job
- How to create artwork that separates better and how to fix poor quality customer supplied artwork
