There are dozens of great trade magazines for the decorated apparel industry.
In most cases subscriptions to trade magazines are free. The only “catch” is that in order for a trade magazine to call you a “subscriber” you must be in the business. That means you typically need a company name when filling out their forms. Most publications now have online versions. Simply follow the links to their home page and fill out their online subscription forms.

Impressions magazine is the oldest trade magazine serving the decorated apparel and imprinted products industry. From screen printing, to digital direct-to-garment, to heat-seal lettering and embroidery – it is all here. If you’re in the business of customizing garments for resale, Impressions is a great source for market information, technical how-to and product sources. They also publish an online addition and a Buyer’s Guide.
Printwear is an excellent resource if you are active in any phase of garment decorating. They have great in-depth technical articles on all topics. They are also a great resource when looking for products. Printwear has an online version and published a Buyers’ Guide and yearly How-To-Do-It.

Screen Printing covers general screen printing and some digital output. It has the occasional article on garment decorating.
|Awards & Engraving
A&E is a leading magazine for the trophy and engraving industry but it does have good technical articles on sublimation, Corel Draw, and garment related topics. They also publish an online version and a Buyer’s Guide.
Stitches Magazine is designed for garment decorators who do embroidery. It is loaded with great technical articles, product information and business articles and tips.
Wearables is designed more the promotional products industry and companies who sell imprinted products such as uniforms, corporate wear, etc.

This use to be called GraphicsPRO and evolved into a Corel Draw magazine and users group. Check it out.
Images is a great magazine from the UK that covers everything from embroidery, to screen printing, direct-to-garment, blank goods and more. Good tech articles.
