Color Separations by Scott Fresener $50
By Scott Fresener on Feb 28, 2011 with Comments 1

Over the years I have done thousands and thousands of color separations. I taught the process for years to large and small companies in the US and overseas. In 1999 I developed FastFilms because I felt the industry needed a way to do high-end separations cheaply and in house. I still feel very strongly that a screen printer needs to have some control of the seps and with over 9,000 FastFilms users and over 1,000 T-Seps users (the big brother of FastFilms), doing separations in-house has proven the key to thousands of companies growth.
But, there are still a LOT of companies who either can’t afford to buy automated separation programs or who have them but still struggle a little and who get that occasion large customer or very hard job. That is where I come in. For the very low price of $50, I will gladly do the separations for you. I like to think of it as the “all you can eat approach.” I will do the best set of separations possible based on my over 40 years experience and I will do as many colors as you want or need – for a flat fee of $50! Yes, I now that a lot of artists charge more and frankly, if you are happy with who you are using now then you should not change. But, if you want to get a great set of separations on those critical jobs, or if you struggle a little with Photoshop or ANY automated separation program then at least give your good customers the best shot you have.
What you get with my seps is my years of experience and knowledge of screen printing. I will give you seps that adjust for dot gain and are designed to be very printer friendly. I will tell you the mesh count, the line count for the halftone dots, the angle for the halftones, the ink color, the print order and more. I will make you look good! And, if you can’t output halftone dots, I will send you files already converted. Just print them out. All for a low fee of $50 for 72 hour turnaround. And, if you need them overnight or the same day I can do that too for a small additional fee.
I have done seps for EVERY major licensed product from Disney, to NASCAR and more. My customers range from large printers with dozens of automatic presses to small home-based operations.
If you already have T-Seps, GREAT! You know that it performs miracles. But, let me help you on that problem job or complex piece of artwork where you need to print 15 colors but only have a six color press!
To order color separations simply go to my shopping cart and place the order HERE. Send email to Scott@TBizNetwork.com the details (shirt color, number of print colors, final artwork size) and then send me the file via one of the free services like YouSendIT.com. Print the job based on my specifications and have a happy customer. Repeat!
If you are new to printing high-end images on light and dark shirts you MUST read my article on how to do this. Click here to see the article. Print it out. Post it. Follow it. Have fun watching images jump off the shirt.
