SGIA is taking a new direction with new “high-end” conferences for their various specialty divisions. For the Garment Decoration Committee they have announced ThreadX18 to be held February 25-28 in Palm Springs California. This is a NON-TECHNICAL event with most speakers from out of the industry – focusing on things like new marketing using the internet, how to compete with online marketers, and more.

This event is not for the faint of heart with a price tag of almost $950 for non SGIA Members and 25% off for Members. This is Early Bird Pricing that ends November 10!

Plus the event is being held at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Hotel in Palms Springs with a room rate of $230 per night.

But, if you want to take your business to the next level and learn a lot about marketing in today’s world of business – this could be for you!

Ryonet has just come on as a major event sponsor.

Check out all the details HERE.

Here is a short description from the ThreadX18.com website:

A REFRESHINGLY DIFFERENTEXPERIENCE
This is so much more than the average “how-to” conference for Garment Decorators. THREADX is designed specifically for Garment Decoration business owners and managers in an effort to capture the zeitgeist of consumer culture and how it will effect the industry. THREADX will feature sessions on consumer trends, ecommerce optimization, social media, findability, marketing and branding. THREADX will inspire, connect and motivate.

DESIGNED BY GARMENT DECORATORS
Designed by the SGIA Garment Decoration Committee for the Garment Decoration Community. Our Committee Members come from leading Garment Decoration Printing Companies across the country and represent a wide-range of technologies and sales models. The speakers and sessions for THREADX have been hand picked and designed by the committee to best address the issues facing the industry today.
One IMPORTANT item that gets lost in the shuffle is the event is being held at the same time as a HUGE event called eTail WEST. That might be a great reason to go.
