Fespa Barcelona Daily Show Reports from Scott Fresener

OK, so you couldn’t make it to Fespa Barcelona. Too bad because it is a great city. FESPA had another big show February 21 – 24 and Scott Fresener was there doing lots of seminars and videos. All-in-all the show was great. While the main theme of Fespa is the digital wide-format side with exhibitors like HP, EFI, Fuji, Mimaki, Mutoh and others – the FespaFabric section (while much smaller) was very well attended and the exhibitors were really busy. There wasn’t much screen printing going on other than at “Charlies Corner” (Charlie Taublieb), but the direct-to-garment guys were out in force and they were pretty much slammed all four days. A good sign!

Brother had their new “one pass” printer there, Kornit was showing their new discharge ink feature (see video interview), Anajet (see video interview) had their M series, DTG was there, Aeeon was there with renewed energy showing their high speed printer (see video interview), and more. Plus, there were a LOT of guys showing heat transfers. Transfer are still huge! The booths were very busy all four days and it seems everyone had a smile on their face! Good job – again – Fespa!
